For a lot of people pets provide a sense of happiness, and calmness. One minute you’re bringing home an animal to join your family, and the next you can’t picture your life without them.
That’s how I feel about my beautiful corgi Toki. When I was traveling to bring her home I knew I was ready to love her with everything I have and that she would be the perfect addition to my family of 2. I never imagined how much I would rely on her presence and her just being there for my mental state, or that she would grow to understand when I need her the most.
She’s able to calm my anxiety with just a cuddle, and that’s one of the greatest things about pets. They just have a sense when we need them. If I’m crying (sometimes you just need to have a good cry to feel better) she’ll just sit with me until I’m okay. Sometimes attack me with kisses but I like to think of that as her way of saying “it’ll be okay mom”.
When I’m away from Toki its hard (anyone else get separation anxiety from their pets?) and I find myself always missing her. I always told myself if I could bring her with me everywhere I go, I would. I wanted a way to even have something that connected us when she can’t be there with me.
A way that I’m able to always have a piece of her with me is with our Friendship Collar. She truly is my best friend, and best friends should always match.
She has her collar, harness and leash and I have my bracelet. I always wear it (especially when leaving the house) so I have a way to have her with me even when she can’t be there physically. I also just love matching with her, its so cute!
Friendship Collar has tons of designs and size options (and options for not just dogs, but for cats and even HORSES). Everything is extremely well made and durable. There’s not a better sign of a true friendship like having best friend jewelry.
The best part (and my favorite part) about this company is that with EVERY purchase made, food is donated to animal shelters to help with animals that haven’t found their forever home yet.
Knowing that my purchase helped feed animals made it more worth it than it already was. The picture below is how much food is donated with the purchase of a collar and bracelet set.
If you’re considering this for yourself, or as a gift for someone else for them and their fur baby (perfect for the holiday season), Toki has a discount code for you to use at checkout to save you some money.
The code is in the picture above and below. I’ll also leave links to get to the Friendship Collar website below (all of the pictures are linked to the site as well).
Do you already have something from Friendship Collar? Is it something you’re thinking about or strongly considering? Let me know in the comments or connect with me on my socials! I’d LOVE to see your fur babies with your matching bracelet and collar!
